Year after year, Children’s Day is celebrated in Colombia - a massive movement reminding us that guaranteeing children’s rights is everyone’s responsibility. For this celebration, Corporación Juego y Niñez (CJN)  prepared "Brújula 2026," a strategy that guides the actions of communities, mayors' offices, and local governments to protect the rights of children and adolescents, with a special emphasis on their right to play. I was responsible for shaping various materials through conceptualization and design, aiming to make this tool inspire concrete actions for children nationwide.

As a visual concept, Brújula 2026 imagines the territory as one large collective comic: each environment — health, education, digital, community, and home — is a scene of play, participation, and children's civic power. To amplify the voices of children, the speech bubble serves as the central graphic element, paired with vibrant colors from the CJN palette, along with comic panels and elements that emphasize how girls, boys, and adolescents express themselves through play. Hand-drawn doodles are also included, contrasting with and highlighting photographs from previous editions of the celebration.

The brand guidelines were developed to maintain and unify visual identity, in recognition that organizations, cities, and towns would draw on them to share posts, photos, and experiences while celebrating Children's Day. The color palette, typography, and other graphic elements were made available for these organizations to use freely, as needed.
